At our recent outing to Shirley Macey Park in Gibsons ('TimBits In The Park') Dan captured this image

of The Ring Nebula with the Canon Digital Rebel XTi. The image shows the central star of 15.7 magnitude!

The trailing is due to snap-shooting with no polar alignment and some camera

mirror jitters.
