Astronomy In The Park - 2005 was held in Porpoise Bay Provincial Park.

The event was open to the public and a steady stream of visitors came to observe the Sun through specially filtered telescopes. Later they gazed at the stars through the large scopes brought in by visiting RASC members.  At 9.00pm though, the scopes were deserted as visitors flocked to the stunning night sky media show delivered by SCAC member Ed Hanlon.  Seeing Ed's show was the beginning of our own adventures in Astro-imaging.
